Youth Ministry!

The Youth Ministry here at FBC Troy is a place where you can feel safe, comfortable, and accepted, regardless of your background or beliefs. You have opportunities to explore your faith, engage in meaningful discussions about real-life issues, and learn about God’s word in ways that are relevant to your own life. You are an essential part of church life. Here you will find a place for authentic worship, meaningful service, and 1-on-1 discipleship which is critical for you to develop a deepening relationship with God and others while growing in your faith.

Our Youth Ministry includes Youth Thrive which meets on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. and a Youth Small Group Bible Study which meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m.

Who? When? Where? What?

Youth Thrive!

Small Group Bible Study

  • Who can come? – Grades 6th through 12th
  • When does Youth Thrive meet?– Wednesdays from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
  • Where do they meet? – Upstairs in the Fellowship Hall
  • Is there food? – YES!!  Usually pizza!
  • Who can come? – Grades 6th through 12th
  • When does the Youth Bible Study meet?– Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
  • Where do they meet? – Upstairs in the Fellowship Hall
  • Is there food? – YES!!  Breakfast yummies of some kind!

What happens at typical Youth weekly get-togethers?

  • Food!
  • A Bible lesson or activity.  We split off into 2 groups – 6th-8th grades and 9th-12 grades.
  • Lots of time to build relationships with each other.

Bake Sale – Saturday, December 6, in Fellowship Hall, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. to help bake cookies and cupcakes to raise money for Operation Christmas Child.
