Welcome to the church nursery!
The nursery is a safe, loving, and nurturing environment available every Sunday morning during the Small Group hour (9:30-10:30) and the church service (10:45-noon) for children from newborn through age 3 while parents participate in worship and ministry. Children 4 and older are encouraged to attend Children’s Church during the church service.
The church nursery is more than just childcare; it's a ministry that aims to meet the needs of the youngest members of the church family. The nursery is staffed by caring individuals trained and committed to creating a positive and secure experience for children – clear safety policies and procedures are in place, including volunteer screening and proper training. Our policy is to always have at least two volunteers in the nursery, Sarah Spiegelhauer (the Nursery Director) being one of those.
Dedicated caregivers sing songs, tell simple Bible stories, engage in playful activities, and help young children experience God's unconditional love. Snacks are a big hit with the children and so are the “Pretend Play” toys (like a play kitchen with dishes) scattered throughout the room!
