
Youth Camp
Latham Springs is operated by 12 Baptist Associations of churches in the central Texas area. Groups from all over the world visit Latham Springs. Their primary focus is to be a support organization for the local church. Recreation opportunities include a 400' zipline, climbing wall, 3 person giant swing, gel ball and bazooka ball, disc golf course, and a swimming pool. The waterfront offers a boating marina, swimming area, water slide and fishing.
Here's what you need to know –
- When? Thursday, June 4 through Monday, June 8, 2026
- Where? Latham Springs Camp & Retreat Center, 134 Private Road 223, Aquilla, TX. This camp is conveniently located between DFW and Waco, just west of Interstate 35.
- Who can go to this? Students in 7th-12th grades
- How much will it cost? $275 – please talk to Thomas or Amelia Haak about any registration concerns. Money should NOT keep you from registering for this!
- How do I sign up? Register for this online by clicking the button to the left. Please register by May 23, 2026.
What can you DO at summer camp?
- Zip down our 300-foot zip line or grab a couple of buddies and take a swing on the giant swing!
- Enjoy swimming, boating, or fishing on the lake!
- Try out the "wet willy waterslide"!
- Climb the climbing tower to practice your climbing skills… Or learn some new ones!
- Grab your friends and challenge them to a "gel ball" or "bazooka ball" contest!
