Every year on October 31, 600 to 700 children hit the streets of Troy to gather as much candy as they can! And FBC Troy wants to take this holiday and make it a special day of blessing for those children. We do that by handing out a variety of small toys and – of course – candy! Folks from the church bring their pickup or hatchback or SUV… Or at least a trunk of SOME kind and pass out goodies to all the children that come by. Fun is  had by everyone who comes and participates!

Would YOU like to help?

  • What time do we need to be there?    Around 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
  • Where do we meet?    At the parking lot of the old Middle School.
  • Any special instructions?   If you don't have a trunk PLEASE come anyway and join somebody else who has a trunk. But, trunks are optional – bring your own table if you would rather. Either trunk or table – it does not have to be decorated but it CAN be and that is encouraged.
  • Do we need to dress up?   That is optional but please, no scary costumes like ghosts, witches, etc.
  • Do we need to bring anything? NO, but you may bring your own candy to pass out if you want to. All other items will be provided by the church, including candy, small toys, Gideon Bibles, some church info, and a gospel tool. Please don't bring anything but candy and keep things more in the "fall" fashion, i.e., not evil.
  • Could we set up a hot chocolate booth or funnel cakes or popcorn or…? Absolutely! But please let the church know you are planning to do that.

We need 5-10 people to provide a trunk and hand out items; we need at least 2 people to transport things to and from the church, both before and after the event. Please let someone on the Evangelism Committee know if you want to help.
