“If You Had Only Known” – Luke 19:28-44
How many times do we have an opportunity to make a decision to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and we don’t? We always think we have more time until we don’t. On that fateful day that He looked over Jerusalem, He wept for them because they rejected Him and what He had to offer them because they really did not believe who He said He was. Their unbelief had sealed their destruction. As He wept over them He uttered these fateful words, “If you had only known”. Could it be that he utters those same words over those today who choose to reject Him and therefore accept the consequences? Instead of His peace, they accept His wrath.
